...I re-created my custom settings and it appears that those settings are now stored in a new subfolder called \UCheck (see attached images).
Hi @Curson:
Further to the questions I asked in my original 17-Feb-2024 post, can Adlice provide guidance to UCheck Portable v5.3.x users on how to clean up the remnants of previous UCheck Portable versions?
If they don't want to tell us what orphaned remnants of older versions of UCheck Portable v5.2.x and earlier we can safely remove, could they at least tell us if there are any registry or folders (e.g., C:\Program Data\UCheck) that we must keep to ensure that UCheck Portable v5.3.x runs correctly?
Phrased another way, the first time I ran UCheck Free Portable v5.3.0 from the E:\Portable\UCheck 5_3_0 folder of my removable USB stick it created a new subfolder at E:\Portable\UCheck 5_3_0\UCheck as shown in the attached images.
Is this \UCheck subfolder now the only location where custom configuration settings, debug logs, etc. are now stored for UCheck Portable v5.3.x?If I want to run UCheck Portable v5.3.x or higher from a different folder do I have to
copy and paste the entire \UCheck subfolder into the new location of my UCheck_portable64.exe executable in order to preserve my custom configuration settings?
