Hello
I have the paid version and today when updating to the latest version 15.4, on the pc with windows 10 everything is fine, but on a pc with windows 11 the desktop freezes and is deconfigured and locked.
When turning off and restarting the pc all normal, just a small annoyance but just to comment on it

Welcome to Adlice.com Forum and thanks for supporting our product.
RogueKiller was not extensively tested on Windows 11, yet.
Could you please send us the folder (zipped) in C:/ProgramData/RogueKiller ? We'll see if the logs are telling something interesting.

Ok,,
I will specify a little more what happened.
The browser restarted and the desktop ran out of wallpaper and icons at a lower resolution.
Also something very strange,,,the menu of the taskbar disappeared the central type of windows 11 and appeared the old one of windows 10 on the left, although it was not usable because the start button did not respond ...
The installation of windows 11 I did on windows 10 and last reset the computer from the windows menu to make a cleaner installation

Hi Miguel,
It looks like an issue with Windows Explorer shell extension.
In RogueKiller, please go to "Settings" > "Shell Extension" and toggle it to disabled, then do a full system restart.
Did this solve the issue ?

The problem arises when the version of the program is updated.
I will disable that option and in the next update I will check if the problem recurs

Hello
Today upgrade to version 15.
In my Windows 10 with shell extension activated, it happens as always when the explorer is closed, but when it starts again everything is fine.
On my Windows 11 with Shell extension disabled all correct without explorer closures.
Now in windows 11 activate the shell extension again and the next update I will comment if the problem I had the previous time in windows 11 arises

Sorry for the late answer.
We are unable to reproduce the issue on our side. Do you use applications that alter the standard behaviour of Windows Explorer (Total Commander, StartIsBack, etc.) ?
