Another Help Topic
« on: February 03, 2015, 02:31:24 AM »
Hoping you guys can help me out here.

I downloaded a piece of software, ran/installed it, used it and then shut down my rig. Powered up several hours later and the boot times are terrible. The Win7 load screen can take upwards of 20-30 seconds and once it is in Windows, I'm met with the screen below.

It's completely black but in Windows with only the cursor visible. I can Ctrl+Alt+Del and enter the interim menu (Switch Use, Log Off, use Task Manager etc), but it sits at that black screen for quite awhile. I've run my AV, Trend Micro, but its not detecting anything. I know something isn't right as this wasn't occurring prior to using aforementioned software.

Hi DetCord,

Welcome to Adlice.com Forum.
RogueKiller's report is clean but there is obviously an issue with Windows.

Did you disable UAC on purposes ?
Could you please tell me with software you proceeded to download and install ?

Regards.
