Error readings in Rogue Killer report
« on: June 17, 2018, 09:03:56 PM »
I've been having a lot of problems with my PC lately - it's slow and graphics are not displayed properly in some games.  I've run almost every malware and virus scan I have and nothing shows.

I'm attaching a report from my latest scan.  Can you tell me if you see anything "wrong"?

Thanks,
Nancy

Hi Nancy,

Welcome to Adlice.com
Your report is clean. Could you please try to update your graphic drivers to latest version ?

Regards.

I have tried - it says I have the latest version - I've gone to the driver website and Microsoft updates and HP for my PC.

Now what?

Hi Nancy,

I really doubt the slowness of your computer is the result of malware.
However, we will check your system to make sure.

Please download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool (x64) and save it to your Desktop.
  • Right click to run as administrator (XP users click run after receipt of Windows Security Warning - Open File). When the tool opens click Yes to disclaimer.
  • Press Scan button.
  • It will produce a log called FRST.txt in the same directory the tool is run from.
  • Please attach log back here.
  • The first time the tool is run it generates another log (Addition.txt - also located in the same directory as FRST.exe). Please also attach that along with the FRST.txt into your reply.
Regards.

Hi Nancy,

The reports doesn't show any malware.
However, your hardware is not really fitted for gaming (low-frequency processor, no dedicated graphic card) :
Quote
Processor: AMD A6-3600 APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics
Percentage of memory in use: 49%
Total physical RAM: 5616.59 MB
Available physical RAM: 2824.64 MB
Additionally, your free RAM count is quite low.

I'm afraid there is nothing I can do to help you further.

Regards.
