I seem to be infected with hanstrackr.com, a highjack/redirect virus.

Before I attempted to start a scan with RK,  I ran Malwarebites Premium which had blocked hanstrackr, posting a notification window in the lower right corner. It detected nothing when I ran a scan. So I uninstalled Malwarebytes with BCInstaller.

I tried to run Rogue Killer Premium, got an update available. When I clicked run, an icon appeared on the progress bar that looked nothing like the Rogue Killer logo. I canceled the installation before it completed. Is the update legitimate, or not? I can't determine which.

RogueKiller should be able to update even in most case of malware infection, so please go ahead.

If our software is unable to remove the hanstrackr infection, please let me known and I will help you manually remove it.
