PUM.dns Removal
« on: March 06, 2017, 01:32:15 PM »
Hi, I have been trying to remove PUM.dns detected by RogueKiller. But the problem is that I can't remove it, every time I remove it, turn off my PC and then turn on again, then scan again, and this thing is still coming back. I tried many solutions from the Internet and still no luck. I just re-install my Windows 10 just a few days ago, and I still have this PUM.dns detected. :'(

Hi iLoveCarrots,

Welcome to Adlice.com Forum.

PUM stands for Potentially Unwanted Modification. In your case, thoses entries are perfectly legit and necessary to access Internet.
For more information, please read RogueKiller Documentation.

Regards.

Note : This thread has been moved to the "RogueKiller" section for clarity.

Thank you for the clarification, though I was suspecting it as a virus that slows my PC down but I guess this is not the cause.
