To the developer of RogueKiller, may I thank you. A night and a day trying to resolve this Poweliks trojan. It took me several times, well, actually more than that to finally get it working. The key for me was to download Process Explorer to kill the dllhost tree. Using the Task Mgr just didn't work. It finally worked when I opened in Safe Mode, started Process Explorer, ran RogueKiller. It found the trojan in my HKEY_Users... and flagged it. I needed to run Fix Hosts. I jumped over to Process Explorer, killed the tree, jumped to RogueKiller and Deleted the trojan entry and immediate did a Restart. Voila! trojan gone. Thank You...I'll be moving some funds into my PayPal account as a token of my thanks. Naturally, I'll be checking the Adlice website for any future problems.
