UCheck / Re: ==> Erroneous detection / Application support request <==
« on: April 07, 2024, 08:41:10 AM »
Hello,

Ucheck is still detecting pre-release versions of telegram.
v4.16.2 is latest stable version but UCheck still shows 4.16.3 as an update, which is currently a pre-release version.
https://github.com/telegramdesktop/tdesktop/releases

Same with Office 365, latest version is still 17425.20146 (Current Channel) as shown on office website. But UCheck is showing update for it.

Could you please confirm you are managing it with the PortableApps application ?
Since they repackage exising setup we do not suppport these.
Hi Curson,

I am directly downloading the portable version from their website; no other app is involved.

Edit: Similar issue with Telegram. Ucheck is suggesting Pre-release version (4.14.11) as an update to the latest version installed and available (4.14.9) on their Github.

Hi WigglyWings,

Welcome to Adlice.com Forums.

UCheck is not detecting latest version of application X, UCheck is detecting beta version of application X, Application X is crashing on install
  • Open UCheck
  • Click on the "History and Settings > "History" buttons
  • Open the first report, export it and attach it with your next reply as attachment
Regards.
Hi,

Thanks for the welcome, here is the report.
