So lost...Please help!! (AntiRootkit)
« on: October 31, 2014, 10:36:36 PM »
I have no clue what happened to my computer. I have probably more than 50 potentially harmful/suspicious malware files coming up and using my browser is near impossible anymore. I have this horrible file that I believe started it all that cannot be uninstalled. Snap.do says it needs a disc to be removed, though I have no such disc as I have never installed any disc on my laptop. Aside from that, I have DynamicPricer that has somehow become an add-on on Firefox for me that can only be disabled, not removed. It still causes more than its share of pop-ups being disabled.

Back to the AntiRootkit list, where should I start? I cannot delete them. Some of the names are GetProcAddress, FreeLibrary, WriteFile etc.

Hello
Looks like you have adwares, can you try AdwCleaner?

Looks like nothing seems to be working. Everything just comes back even after using RogueKiller and/or AdwCleaner

On RogueKiller I keep having antirootkit entries pop up. I tried AdwCleaner too,  browser worked okay for about 5 minutes after reboot, then went all haywire again. Still having trouble uninstalling snap.do from the control panel. The prompt for a disc continues to pop up. There's probably 50 entries that repeatedly keep making their way back on to RogueKiller

Please, simple text is enough.
Pdf and Word are dangerous formats.

Sorry, that is the only format it would allow me to save it in. I give up though. So it's okay. Trying to get back onto this website for help is more painful than having teeth pulled with no numbing agent. Thank you for responding though.

When you open the report from the "report" button (with notepad), just hit "file", "save as", and keep it as it.
That the easiest way to get it.
You can also paste the report in plain text here
