New malware
« on: May 12, 2014, 01:28:24 AM »
Hi, and thanks in advance for your thoughts. My wife decided she needed some freemaker dvd software. Now this infection has consumed our computer. I have tried, AVG, malware bytes,  Hitman Pro, Glary Utilities, superantispyware, JRT, adwcleaner and sc-cleaner. I have run some of these in safe mode and will start the others for the sake of argument. I have posted the data from the scans that i have done but even after trapping/cleaning the issue, the popups still comeback. If you have anymore thoughts, I'm open to hearing them. Yes, I can just wipe the C drive which is my last resort. I just thought it might be good for someone to study this to prevent the highjacking of your browsers in the future.

Thanks, T

Hello
The report shows nothing :/
Have you tried just uninstalling the software? Somtimes it can work with some borderline malware
