UCheck / Re: ==> Erroneous detection / Application support request <==
« Last post by Herrminator on May 04, 2024, 01:06:07 PM »
Hi Everyone!

I'm wondering, if this is the right place to report erroneous detections?

In my previous post, almost a month ago, I reported a wrong version of curl.
Since then, nothing changed (neither the curl version nor the detection in UCheck ;) ).

So, if there's a better place to report this, please let me know.

Thanks and regards!

Diag / Re: Diag Technician CMD
« Last post by LukeOliver on April 23, 2024, 03:38:31 PM »
Can Diag be run via command prompt? If not, is it something that will happen soon?
What I would love to do is run the it in the background and export the malicious items found to a text file for review. Is this possible? I could not find any documentation about it like there is for RK.

Please ignore my previous 11-Apr-2024 post <above>.  As of today UCheck v5.4.0.0-BETA2 is once again erroneously recommending that I update to a Preview build (Version 2404 / Build 17531.20004, released 08-Apr-2024)...

A  bit of good news.

I'm now using UCheck v5.4.0.0-BETA3 (rel. 15-Apr-2024) and as of today (16-Apr-2024) UCheck is once again correctly recommending I update my MS Office 2019 C2R from Version 2403 / Build 17425.20146 (rel. 29-Mar-2024) to Version 2403 / Build 17425.20176 (rel. 09-Apr-2024), which is the latest stable build listed in the Current Channel release history at https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/officeupdates/update-history-office-2019#retail-versions-of-office-2016-c2r-and-office-2019.

Code: [Select]
Microsoft Office Home and Business 2019 - en-us (64-bit), version 16.0.17425.20146
  [+] Available Version        : 16.0.17425.20176
  [+] Size                     : 3045297152
  [+] Wow6432                  : No
  [+] Portable                 : No
  [+] update_location          : C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office

However, this has happened before for brief periods (see my 11-Apr-2024 reply # 2 above for one example) so I'm not entirely convinced the problem is now permanently fixed.  I'll have to wait for the release of a few more Preview builds before I'm sure that future UCheck scans will only recommend "stable" Current Channel updates for MS Office 2019 C2R.

Scan and debug logs are attached.

Has this issue been fixed?

UCheck v5.4.0.0-BETA2 correctly suggested I update my MS Office 2019 C2R from Version 2403 / Build 17425.20146 (rel. 29-Mar-2024) to Version 2403 / Build 17425.20176 (rel. 09-Apr-2024) today, which is the latest stable build listed in the Current Channel release history at https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/officeupdates/update-history-office-2019#retail-versions-of-office-2016-c2r-and-office-2019.

I've been running UCheck daily for the past few weeks and UCheck has not detected any of the Version 2404 Insider Preview builds released since 01-Apr-2024 that are listed in the Current Channel (Preview) release notes at https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/officeupdates/update-history-current-channel-preview.

Hello,

Ucheck is still detecting pre-release versions of telegram.
v4.16.2 is latest stable version but UCheck still shows 4.16.3 as an update, which is currently a pre-release version.
https://github.com/telegramdesktop/tdesktop/releases

Same with Office 365, latest version is still 17425.20146 (Current Channel) as shown on office website. But UCheck is showing update for it.

Now UCheck states that there is another update 5.15.1.2 which isn't available.
