Hi,
Do you mind creating a support ticket instead ? adlice.com/contact/
Our conversation will likely disclose some personal information, that we want to avoid being public.
EDIT: I have redacted part of your answers above.

Hello,
Thanks for your message.

The scheduled scan can for now only have one item. This is an intermediate ability, it should come soon.
Same goes for types of scans, we planned to add different types. The UI says otherwise because we have anticipated this new addition.

Quick scan only scans most critical locations, where malware are often seen. Standard will scan all system locations (not whole C: though). Custom scan allows to scan what standard does + external drives / full drives for example.
It's not documented because most users don't want to know. If you want more granularity, I'd recommend looking at Adlice Diag.

We didn't plan to wake computer up from sleep mode for scanning, we found this too intrusive. Instead, the scanner tries to catch up if the last miss if not too far in the past.
We may consider adding a setting later, but TBH it's very low priority compared to the above.

Hello,
Since I hear that SUMo will ends I'm looking for a decent replacement...
Kyle puts me in your direction ;-)
I also had a look in the discussion in Wilders Security Forums.
So I see that you are working to improve Ucheck.
Now my questions:
It's not very clear where and how to report missing software ?
How is it that your own Ucheck appears "unsupported" ?
Why Uchecks finds twice the same program with 2 versions (while there's only 1 installed) ?
What are the differences between starting it "normal" or "as administrator" ?

Hi :)
To report new software, for now it's better to wait. We are developing new feature that will bring a lot of new compatible software.
It's going to also give us a list of new software to add by priority order. If you don't mind, please refrain from adding new software in the short term.
UCheck doesn't support itself because it would conflict with its own Updater. There's a self-check when it starts, and you have the "Check for updates" button on the dashboard.

Can you tell me which software is detected twice ?
Running as Admin allows to run bulk updates / installations in silent mode.

Hi,
Thanks a lot for this valuable information.
There's indeed a feature we are developing, that will add half-support (version only) in an automated fashion.
More to come :)

Hi,
It seems to be an issue with TeamViewer CDN.
In North America, where our server is located, the version on their website is old. And UCheck relies on that (indirectly).
We have contacted them, hopefully they are willing to fix that soon.

EDIT: They answered this will be fixed soon, UCheck should pick up the correct version once they deploy their fix.
I'll try to confirm by checking from time to time.

Thanks for the feedback

Hey,
I'm not entirely sure but there's a high chance this may be related to Windows Updates search.
Can you retry with Windows Updates search turned off in scan settings ?
