I live in England U.K.
I hardly know anything about puters, apart from what I have learned on line in the past 9 -10 yrs.
I have heard very good reports of "Rogue Killer" and from watching YouTube videos where they have recommended it!
I am disabled and I am seated at my puter 18 hours a day, approx; from where i travel all over the World from my seat Lol
As you may appreciate if my puter is out of action through malware, i can suffer quite alot!
Thank you very much for letting me to become a very small cog in a well oiled machine!

I can't seem to fix the lastest problem that is on just one of 3 work stations. I have run Rogue Killer and want to post the report. Do I post it here?

I think I have a hot one for Tgzy. For one month I have on my computer a malware, seems like a rootkit, that no AV could track and kill. You name it I tried all of them. The caracteristics are:
It loads on boots and re-boots. Once loaded it starts to write a sequence of the numer "4" in any input boxes, like this one for instance. Writes the same sequence in applications like Word, Notepad, Excel. Shuts down the virtual keyboard, and when you acces Win8 block interface automatically opens the search instance so you could not acess any software since iit keeps on opening that resource. Only roguekiller, gmer and spydllremover were capable of spotting and killing for some time the hidden processes (normally a pair of them). But it keeps on returning, it seems to be really embeded in some of the main applications of Win startup. I think that the"writing sequences of 4´s" is a deffect of the vírus since I don´t think anyone would have the trouble or work to just doing this as a joke. Probably a vírus that Works as expected in Win7 but in Win 8 have this particular behavior.

I have been studying about malware since last year. In the past, it is only call antivirus. Now it is call antimalware. Nowadays, there are many bad or malicious software, not just virus. That is why it is call anti malware.

I join this forum to ask for advice only. I was working online fulltime last year. This year onwards, I will have to do it as part time for some reasons.

I think it is nice to have a forum like this to help peoples with their malware problems. I hope all of your electronic devices are fix with no more malware. Have a pleasant day! :D

I have only run MWB for years, no av, and it now locks the computer when it or if I run a scan. I believe I need to post the particulars in another part of the forums which I will do next.
Thanks for what you do here. I have seen over the years that rk was always the first tactic in battling bad ware.

I signed up because your software rogue killer does a very unique, and good job at finding things other antivirus solutions do not, which says a lot considering the amount of financial backing they have. Outstanding product!

But why the heck are you using Paypal??

It took me an hour with phone support to process my cc payment because PP says I "used up all my guest log-ins" and apparently I was "flagged".

They attempted to coerce (extort) me into registering with them.
(snowball's chance in hell)

My guest log-ins amount to less than 10 over 8 years aprox.
What a nightmare.
I told PP supervisor I was going to report their obnoxious behavior to you (and the world) and you will not believe their response-
Supervisor says (and I quote)-
"No one is forcing Adlice to use PayPal" (!!)

I'm finally finished cleaning up ONE of my computers from a nasty hacker attack. That was in early July. Thank you Oh My from Bleepingcomputer. He was with me through it all. And Thank you RogueKiller! That is some great software you guys put together. When I recover a bit financially, I will be purchasing the paid version.

Next is my laptop. But I'm taking a week off before I tackle that one.
Most of us are probably here cuz we were hacked or got a really bad virus or malware on our computers. Sorry to all of you that are/were victims.

This is for my home computer. I could not figure out anywhere but here to post my question. I hope that is okay...

Rogue Killer and Malwarebytes saved my computer from some vicious bugs I got into a while back and has caught and zapped bad stuff since. I purchased Malwarebytes, which has done its job extremely well. My free version of Rogue Killer is over. Do I need to buy it or one of the other programs on the Adlice website to keep the nasties away?

However, much water has gone under the bridge since then and through some health issues, I've forgotten so much. I have to depend on programs like Roguekiller to keep my machine clean because machines now are like when they turned the engines in cars to acros I had a hard time keeping up.

Any way I hope I can get the kind of assistance I need from time to time but I can't gaurantee I don't think I am proficient with roguekiller to help you...sorry

I would like to Point out one more issue with the Popup Login Box. Everytime I try to login using the Popup Login, says: Your session timed out while posting.

It doesnt matter from which page I try to login, even without posting. It still shows the same error.

Thank you Curson for your your help as always mate. Keep up the awesome support. And btw I love the Forum Theme. SMF is not a favorite Forum Software, but this theme looks really beautifull. Great customization work.

This is a known bug within SMF software. We are aware of it since a few months but were unable to solve it for now.

I am an old school IT technician. Been building/managing/maintaining computers and network gear professionally since 1995.
Started in IT ~1989ish

I was using Sumo to help me help friends and family when they brought their computers for me to fix or just give it the once over.

Sumo has announced that they closing down and I am looking for an alternative.

Winget isn't quite there.
Chocolaty does not handle software that was not installed with it very well.

I may be getting the technician license for Ucheck.. if the license matches what I think it means.

Je suis un EX-utilisateur (lifetime licence et je pouvais modifier l'etat d'une version d'un logiciel de beta vers non-beta et inversement) de feu-SUMo (snif).
Je fais partie de la division informatique d'une administration d'etat et je m'appuyais sur SUMo pour tracer les mises a jour des logiciels de mon parc afin de les mettre a jour sur mon parc de PC au travers de nos outils de deploiement.
Je suis en train de tester la version Technicien de UCheck qui a l'air d'etre un bonne alternative.
L'interface me plait bien, la philosophie du logiciel aussi.
J'espere que mes essais aboutirons a l'adoption de UCheck.
