Hello,
Since I hear that SUMo will ends I'm looking for a decent replacement...
Kyle puts me in your direction ;-)
I also had a look in the discussion in Wilders Security Forums.
So I see that you are working to improve Ucheck.
Now my questions:
It's not very clear where and how to report missing software ?
How is it that your own Ucheck appears "unsupported" ?
Why Uchecks finds twice the same program with 2 versions (while there's only 1 installed) ?
What are the differences between starting it "normal" or "as administrator" ?

Hi :)
To report new software, for now it's better to wait. We are developing new feature that will bring a lot of new compatible software.
It's going to also give us a list of new software to add by priority order. If you don't mind, please refrain from adding new software in the short term.
UCheck doesn't support itself because it would conflict with its own Updater. There's a self-check when it starts, and you have the "Check for updates" button on the dashboard.
Can you tell me which software is detected twice ?
Running as Admin allows to run bulk updates / installations in silent mode.

Hi :)
Here are the 2 programs detected twice:
Cheers.

Hello,
Any news on those "double" programs ?
-
Hi,
This will be fixed in UCheck next release.
Regards.

New version installed, STILL "double programs"...

Hi duf666,
Could you please attach UCheck log with your next reply ?
Regards.

Sure...
Besides, none of my portable apps are present, despite I add their location...
I add you the content of this location.

Currently, only the single portable program currently on the UCheck compatible program list is supported - AdwCleaner by Malwarebytes. This single case is primarily for demo purposes.
A download link for AdwCleaner is currently available on the UCheck product website, not on the Download tab within the program. The download consists of a single .exe file which if placed within your custom locations should be detected and show up on the Install tab highlighted in red (for portable program) rather than purple (for installed program). Another user has already verified that updates to the program can be detected by UCheck if an old version of the program is present.
How community portable programs (i.e., programs not on UCheck's compatible programs list) will be handled has yet to be determined.

Hi duf666,
Thanks for your feedback.
This is a case of a duplicate Registry Entry. Please excute the following Registry fix to solve this.
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[-HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Subtitle Edit_is1]
Hi dking02,
Thanks for the assistance.
Regards.
