Since the new update, my Rogue Killer runs super slow.
What used to take a couple of minutes is now running for 1.5 hours and still going.
I tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it, but it made no difference.
Any ideas?

Hi RayN,
Welcome to Adlice.com Forum.
Could you please check if MalPE scanner is disabled in RogueKiller's settings ?
Regards.
-
Hi Curson,
It is disabled.
It seems to really bog down when going through the .dll files. If it ever finishes those I'll see if there are any more areas.
I don't know if it matters, but I am using the paid version.
-
Update:
When it slowed to a crawl while processing the .dll files, it never went back up to speed.
It's been running for 1 1/2 hours right now and has only scanned 2135 files.

Hi RayN,
Thanks for your feedback.
Please follow the following process :
- Download Process Explorer (x64) (http://live.sysinternals.com/procexp64.exe) and save it to your desktop.
- Start a new scan with RogueKiller and wait for the scan speed to slow down. Do not interrupt it.
- Click on the setup file (procexp64.exe) and select Run as Administrator to start the tool.
- Locate the process named RogueKiller64.exe, do a right click on it and select Create Dump > Create Full Dump...
- Save the dump on your desktop and compress it.
- Upload it to Dropbox, Google Drive or similar services and share the link in your next reply.
Regards.

Hi Curson,
Using version 13.4.2.0 64 bit I still have the same issue.
I tried completely uninstalling and reinstalling the program, but no change.
Were you referring to this release. or the next?
Thanks,
Ray
-
Hi Ray,
The issue was fixed in version 13.4.0, so V13.4.2 contains the fix as well.
Are you, by any chance, using Windows XP ?
Regards.
-
Hi Curson,
Nope. I'm using Win 10 64 bit

Hi Ray,
That's really strange.

Update: I'm running a scan right now. So far it hasn't stopped scanning but it is running ungodly slow.

Well, the scan did complete.
It took over 4 hours though.
