Hi All.

I have just downloaded the latest version 9.2.3.0 of rougekillerx64 and during initialising it came up with BSOD,I am running windows 7 home premium 64 bit.Is this a bug in the software or could it be malware.

Cheers

Hello
This is probably a bug.
Could you tell when that happens?

Can you please attach the minidump? (C:/Windows/minidumps)

Thanks. What is your operating system, which version of RogueKiller did you use (x86/x64) ?

EDIT: You've zipped a shortcut, not the actual file :)

I had the same problem, started in safe mode + networking and it worked fine, but I don't know if it will find everything that way.

There's no recent dump file in the minidumps directory.

I think we've had enough dumps for now, problem has been spotted but is not easy to fix.
Just to be sure, does that happen during initialization?

I am experiencing BSOD within a few seconds of scanning as well with the new version downloaded.

Running x32 bit mode under Vista Ultimate Sp2 , note :

right before BSOD there was a popup message from 360 security warning me of a driver startup modification going by the name :

Securecheck.sys or something simular to Secure something.

then right after the popup BAM! BSOD reboot after memory dump with the error code 0x0000007B

Hope to get this sorted !

Crownstart, please can you tell which version you use.
Can you also provide minidump? C:/Windows/minidumps
