Hello
Could you provide a crash dump?
EDIT: Ok, topic solved here http://forum.adlice.com/index.php?topic=104
-
Here is the dump file from rogue killer. This doesn't seem to be the same error as the Windows XP machine.

What version did you use for having that crash?
-
Thanks for the help.
I just downloaded it again, and it produced the same result. The version is 9.0.2.0 x64.
Link to the dmp file:

I am guessing that's the file you're looking for, right? The dmp file it creates, and puts in programdata\roguekiller\debug?
-
Exactly, thanks :)
It's supposed to be sent at next execution though.
But thanks anyway.
-
It looks like the dump is corrupted. Can you zip it before upload it?
-
Sure. Here you go.

That doesn't change. I think the dump is corrupted.
Could be generate another one?
-
Let me delete the old one and we'll know if it's making a new one... One second.
-
Ok, this time I had it send you the dump file, from the email dialogue that pops up, when I re-ran the program. Let me know if you get it....
-
I didn't. I think there was no dump to send. :-\
-
Do you know the moment where it's crashing?
Is it while scanning the MBR?
-
It looks like it was crashing because dxgkrnl.sys was corrupted by physical disk errors. I booted into Linux and was able to diagnose the health of the disk, which reported physical damage. When I tried to upload dxgkrnl.sys to virustotal, in Linux, it gave me an input/output error.
-
wow, that's strange. dxgkrnl.sys is the DirectX driver I think.
If it was really corrupted, I think you'd have BSoD soon or later.
